“VCU Peppas” join Al Roker on the Today Show
Ryan Kopasci and the “VCU Peppas” are the most energetic and creative pep band in the nation. This may be one of their best moments yet.
Coach Shaka Smart and the VCU Rams have made a name for themselves over the past few seasons by taking down giants. Meanwhile, Ryan Kopasci and the “VCU Peppas” have been the GIANT of pep bands. Dana O’neil called them the best pep band, they won the 2011 Final Four battle of the bands, and they always find unique places to play when they hit the road with the basketball team.
In 2011, they played on a boat on the San Antonio River Walk, but this may be a new best:
