WNRN offered Ben Kweller and Julia Nunes last night at The Camel. The sold-out crowd was filled with music fans of all sorts: patchouli-smelling Randolph-Macon students, local stars, and retirees sporting their Richmond Folk Festival sweatshirts were all there for a show they wouldn’t soon forget.
The Diamond Center returns to Live at Ipanema to (once again) blow everyone’s minds with their rich, almost psychedelic sounds and some completely amazing harmonies. And this time you actually get to listen to it!
Regular Joes making music, that’s LCD Soundsystem’s deal, and for a band that most would term “electronic,” they sure managed to create that dancey vibe while putting on a legitimate rock show.
