Favorites: Jo-Jo’s calzones

Jo-Jo’s Famous Pizza makes some of the best New York-style pie in RVA, earning those out-the-door lines on any given weekday lunch hour. They’re also known to take that same wonderful pizza dough and stuff it with mozzarella, creamy ricotta, and any of their pizza toppings to make a tasty calzone ($5.50). For an extra 49¢ you can make it a lunch special with a fountain drink, but get there early to beat the rush.
