Homicide on Old Brook Road
The incident occurred around 9:30 on Saturday evening.

The Richmond Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred last night (Saturday) in the city’s north side.
At approximately 9:28 p.m., officers were called to the 4900 block of Old Brook Road for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, they located a juvenile female at the rear of the building suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Detectives canvassed the area and are actively working all available leads in the case. The investigation is ongoing.
