Homicide on Old Brook Road
The incident occurred around 9:30 on Saturday evening.

The Richmond Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred last night (Saturday) in the city’s north side.
At approximately 9:28 p.m., officers were called to the 4900 block of Old Brook Road for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, they located a juvenile female at the rear of the building suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Detectives canvassed the area and are actively working all available leads in the case. The investigation is ongoing.

BLM is conspicuously silent on this tragedy and the many like it. The greatest scourge in the black community comes from within, but the anger is always directed at the much lower percentage (though still horrible) crimes committed by the police or those which they claim stem from racism (as nebulous as that may be).
