Located between the historic Meredith House and the Leigh Street Armory sit several homes that could use some TLC. The MacTyler Development Corp is currently working with Historic Richmond to restore one of these homes.

Black History Month print sale
In honor of Black History Month, East End Cemetery is selling prints of prominent African Americans from the Jackson Ward community. All proceeds from the print sale with go towards renting goats to help clear brush from the cemetery.
Work on Black History Museum has been delayed
The Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia planned to begin construction at their new 24,000-square-foot Leigh Street Armory home in October 2013. The museum recently announced that they will delay their renovation project until spring 2014.
