Renovations at 617 St. Peter Street

Located between the historic Meredith House and the Leigh Street Armory sit several homes that could use some TLC. The MacTyler Development Corp is currently working with Historic Richmond to restore one of these homes.

Built in 1900, the home at 617 St. Peter Street has sat in a state of neglect for many years with broken windows and debris scattered on the property. Purchased for $17,000 by Historic Richmond, the nonprofit sold the building to MacTyler and helped with a renovation loan. The group plans to renovate the home and then sell it for approximately $175,000.

The MacTyler Development Corp recently finished renovation work on the Meredith House at 133 W. Jackson Street.
