RVAJazzfest will happen! Yes, the weather is treacherous and schools and businesses around the area are all closing. However, after much deliberation, we’ve decided that the show will go on regardless of Saturday’s weather.

RVAJazzfest will happen! Yes, the weather is treacherous and schools and businesses around the area are all closing. However, after much deliberation, we’ve decided that the show will go on regardless of Saturday’s weather.

You may recall that our featured performer is trombonist Ray Anderson, who will be flying into Richmond from New York City. We’re hoping for the best, but we will have the final update tomorrow. In the event that flights into RIC are canceled and Anderson can’t get here, RVAJazzfest will proceed.

We hope this won’t deter you — if you can pass the snow — from enjoying a night of fine Richmond music.
