Now that UR has their very own brand new stadium the old stadium was in dire need of renaming — mostly to avoid confusing fans traveling to the Spiders home opener on September 18th. UR Stadium, which once was City Stadium, is now, once again, City Stadium.

The City is removing all the highway signage and splitting the $35,000 price tag with VDOT.
