Foot traffic and tenants have been on the rise at West Broad Village as of late, and soon the holiday spirit will be as well. In an event dubbed “Reflections of the Past,” holiday decorations will adorn the development’s storefronts beginning Friday and take cues from Christmases past in Downtown Richmond’s Miller & Rhoads and Thalhimer’s storefronts.

The festive Christmas display will boast the only storybook window animations south of New York City.

In addition to the storefront displays and a tree lighting, Legendary Santa will be making an appearance.

“This is Legendary Santa’s first and only visit to the West End,” said Jennifer L. Barryman, Director of Property Management at Eagle Commercial Realty. “We are thrilled to have him officially light the tree to kick off the holiday season and we hope you can join us in welcoming the start of a new West End tradition at West Broad Village.”

The festivities will get underway at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening.
