Several of us in the neighborhood are working on putting together a 5K race this upcoming year. We need volunteers to help make this happen.
We’re planning to partner with the Irish Festival and host the race on Sunday March 25th. We’ve made some progress with securing donations, getting the draft course mapped, etc, but we really need additional volunteer assistance. We’re looking for individuals in the neighborhood who have a decent amount of time to dedicate to this effort who can assist us with securing more donations, doing website/PR work, helping formulate a more detailed budget, contact the appropriate vendors/race operators, recruit volunteers for race day, assist with set-up/clean-up, and any other pertinent tasks as we begin to make the race a reality.
