One lucky guy from Richmond is giving his girlfriend a unique proposal this Valentine’s Day, and it will all culminate in Short Pump tonight.
The winner of a local radio contest with Cox Media Group won a digital billboard located on I-195 South. As the winner of the Perfect Proposal contest, he will propose via the billboard and be get a diamond engagement ring.
He entered by telling K95, 96.5 KLR, Hot 100.9 and 103.7 The River the story of why he thought he and his fiancé-to-be deserved it.
On February 8th, the digital billboard was published with two blanks instead of names. Each day, letters were added and today, both names will be completely revealed.
The couple will celebrate their engagement tonight at Schwarzschild Jewelers in Short Pump Town Center. Family and friends will join the couple at the store. The couple will also enjoy a romantic dinner at The Melting Pot after the party.
