At some point, anyone who has visited the James River Park that has been to Pony Pasture has probably claimed that gem to be their favorite part of the park. It is beautiful, and I hate to see beauty marred by trash.
I was rock hopping at Pony Pasture trying to catch a glimpse of a rainbow as the Wednesday thunderstorms rolled into Richmond when I looked down into one of the huge potholes and saw all this garbage. A terrible hangover from the July 4th weekend. There was plenty of other trash along the banks, but I didn’t come equiped with my trash bucket, so I had to leave it all. So disappointing.
