Live musical acts will be playing along the course to help inspire and motivate participants! Friends or relatives wanting to spectate along the course will want to visit the SunTrust/NBC12 Party Zones at miles 7, 13 and 19 on the marathon course and mile 7 on the half marathon course. Each location will feature music, refreshments, giveaways, and an on-air personality from channel 12.

2. Deep Run High School Presents “Stage Door”

Out of the Woods Theater Company, aka the Deep Run Drama Department, will present “Stage Door ” by Edna Ferber and George S. Kaufman. This play is about the hopes and ambitions of 16 want-to-be actresses who are living in a New York City boarding house run by Mrs. Orcutt, a faded “star” herself. The girls courageously pursue their dreams and deal with romance, hilarity, discouragement, joy, despair and idealism. All ages will enjoy and identify with this timeless story about finding yourself.
