Summer’s winding down and school is looming right around the corner for most kids in the area. But there’s still plenty of events in the West End and beyond that families can enjoy together this last week of August.

Below are just a few from our new weekly family events and entertainment contributor, Carissa Garabedian, who runs Macaroni Kid of Richmond, a great resource for fun things to do around town for the entire family.

1. Back To School Fair
