Thanks to the support and encouragement of our fellow Church Hill Yogis, Nava Life Yoga and Wellness (Jimmy and Tonita) will continue its “Yoga in the Park” sessions at Jefferson Park through the Summer. The Patrick Henry Committee invites you to bring your friends and family to a reenactment of the Second Virginia Convention of March 1775. In the presence of Washington, Jefferson, and other notable Virginians, Patrick Henry delivered his passionate call for liberty, uttering the immortal words, “Give me liberty or give me death!” These events are free and open to the public. Tickets are distributed at 1:00pm on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call 804-648-5015 for more information.

City Council Formal Meeting

Every 2nd and 4th Mon – Responsible for deciding official Council action, which includes discussing, adopting, rejecting, and amending laws and approving the budget. Formal meetings include a time for pubic comment and are televised live on the local PBS station and are replayed in Richmond on Government Access Channel 17, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily.
