Next weekend’s Watermelon Festival is only the beginning! The 2012 “Taste of Carytown” Restaurant Week follows, running all of the week of August 6-12:

During “Taste of Carytown” Restaurant Week, the neighborhood’s participating fine-dining establishments will feature a one-time-only, $16 two-course prix fixe Lunch offering with $1.52 of each being donated to the efforts of the Richmond Public Schools Education Foundation. In addition, a one-time only $25 three-course prix fixe Dinner option will also be offered with $2.12 of each being donated to the efforts of the Richmond Public Schools Education Foundation, while Carytown’s more casual restaurants will offer special bargain menus of their own with 10% of proceeds being donated to the efforts of the Richmond Public Schools Education Foundation.

In addition, there are two drop off points in Carytown for school supply collection. You can drop off your school supplies (pencils, notebooks, backpacks, rulers, etc.) at Pink and All Fired Up!
