Boy Scout Troop 498 and Cub Scout Pack 498 – sponsored by Saint Benedict Catholic Church – will distribute more than 2,000 Scouting for Food bags to homes in the Museum District and West of the Boulevard on Saturday, October 31 and collect bags filled with non-perishable food items on Saturday, November 7.

This year, the Central Virginia Foodbank is reporting the following critical needs: canned chicken and ham, canned tuna and salmon, peanut butter, canned vegetables, canned fruits, spaghetti sauce, hot and cold cereals, and pasta and rice.
