Modern Artifacts will be hosting a succession of 6 different pop-up shops during weekends beginning November 15. Each pop-up will operate for one weekend in the store’s gallery space, The Shed.
The pop-up shops will include locally hand-pulled silk screened designs, a spot-on selection of timeless vintage wares, a finely curated collection of international fair-trade craft and design, and more.
“We identified new and growing local makers and sellers that currently have a limited or no retail presence in Richmond that we think our customers will really respond to” says Sharon Montgomery, co-owner of Modern Artifacts with her husband, Bill.
“Our goal is to create a fun, surprising shopping experience where everyone can find a perfect gift” adds Bill.
