There are very few ultimate truths in the world. One of those truths is that dinosaurs are awesome. Richmond.com goes behind the scenes and talks with the folks at the Science Museum of Virginia about the new “Be the Dinosaur” exhibit. As the name implies, this exhibit is highly interactive and you get to take the role of dinosaurs.

“One of the first things that got me interested in science was dinosaurs,” says Chuck English, the museum’s director of playful learning and inquiry. And that’s what got him excited about this exhibit. But he was also intrigued by the interactive element of this exhibit.

“This [exhibit] is more unique than the giant skeletons. We’re asking people to engage with the dinosaurs, to see what it takes to survive in the Cretaceous period,” English says.
