Think you know a little something about Richmond history and lore? It’s not too late to register for the 3rd Annual Great Richmond Region Adventure, organized by the Richmond Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau (RMCVB):

Do you love cracking codes and solving mysteries? Do you think you know the Richmond Region like the back of your hand? Put your Richmond Region knowledge to the test! Compete for a grand prize of $1,700 in the Great Richmond Region Adventure taking place Saturday, April 25, from 12-4 p.m.

The Great Richmond Region Adventure is a one-day adventure race… The ultimate test of physical speed and mental agility, the race requires participating teams to decipher complex codes in order to unearth clues to reveal each new destination along their path. As they navigate through the streets of Richmond, players will work to crack codes , find planted actors and outwit adversaries, all while vying to be the first to cross the finish line. The race will also test players’ knowledge of the Richmond Region.

Teams of two to six people are now forming. While true adventure-seekers may choose to participate solely for the excitement and challenge of the race, other participants will find extra incentive in the $1,700 cash prize for the winning team. In addition, a donation of $1,700 will be awarded to the non-profit Richmond Region attraction of the winning team’s choice. The 2nd place team will take home $1,000 and the 3rd place team will pocket $600.

Participants can register for the Great Richmond Region Adventure online at www.greatrradventure.com. The fee is $25 per person.
