A “Paint the Walls” pre-party for the RVA Street Art Festival will take place on Wednesday, August 21 where attendees can tour the site pre-festival, and take part in creating a collaborative mural:
The RVA Street Art Festival is committed to discovering and showcasing local artists. During the FREE pre-party on Wednesday, August 21st, we’re dedicating 20 murals spaces (6’x6’) for local talent to show RVA their stuff.
Just email pictures of your work to rvastreetart@gmail.com and you could be selected. A group of randomly chosen local creatives will pick 3-5 murals at the party. If your work is selected, you’ll get your own large space on a wall at the Festival in September alongside the other local, national, and international artists!
The pre-party event is FREE and will include food trucks, local beers and tons of mural prints, posters, shirts, and other swag for sale.
