The Petersburg Festival Chorus’ Grande Concert, entitled “100 Years of Broadway & Then Some,” will take place at May 9 at 7:30pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 215 S. Sycamore St. The concert will feature a variety of well-known musical scores including “Over the Rainbow,” “That’s Entertainment,” “Comedy Tonight,” “Manhattan,” “Oh What a Beautiful Morning,” “If I Loved You,” “I’m Gonna Wash that Man Right Outa My Hair” and many more stage and screen favorites.

The Petersburg Festival Chorus is directed by Sandra Thomas. Accompanying the chorus on piano will be Laura Candler-White. It is the resident chorus of Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary. The nonprofit chorus was established in 1884 with a four-part vocal ensemble of 68 singers. Today the chorus is comprised of singers of all ages who perform concerts throughout the year.

Tickets will be sold at the door for both concerts and cost $10 each.
