A plethora of new restaurants and businesses are in the negotiation phase of opening locations in West Broad Village. In addition to previously announced tenants Halligan’s and Bonefish Grill, our friends at the Residents of West Broad Village site report the following significant additions to the mixed use development.

From reporter James Barrett:

An unnamed Indian restaurant has signed a lease for 3,000 square feet of space next to Dave & Buster’s. The windows have been covered and construction has started.

Lot’s of new lease negotiations underway right now, but nothing signed yet.

  • Carrabba’s Italian Grill is negotiating the outparcel next to Kona Grill. Carabba’s is owned by the same parent company as Bonefish Grill but there may be no relation between the two franchisees. Carabba’s has over 200 locations, including one in Midlothian.
  • Cooper’s Hawk is negotiating the other outparcel next to the Bonefish Grill. Cooper’s Hawk is a Napa inspired wine restaurant with multiple locations in the Mid-West.
  • All Fired Up is negotiating for 1,500 square feet between The Sweet Spot and the Eagle Homes Gallery. The paint your own ceramics store has been looking for a West End location to compliment their existing Carytown and Midlothian shops and may have found it in West Broad Village.
  • Spirited Art is negotiating for 3,000 square feet next to The Wine Loft. Spirited Art hosts art classes for adults focused on having fun. They have locations in Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, and their website states a Richmond location is coming soon.
  • Regency Beauty Institute is negotiating for 7,000 square feet next to Halligan’s. This salon-like beauty school has eighty plus locations nationwide including three other Virginia locations; Roanoke, Newport News, and Northern Virginia.
  • Cadillac Ranch is negotiating nearly 5,000 square feet on the corner of Old Brick Road and Whittall Way. Cadillac Ranch was in negotiation back in early 2010 but pulled out for undisclosed reasons.  The all American bar & grill has a dozen locations, including two in Maryland.

A yet to be named yogurt shop is also in negotiations for the space next to 3 Sports.
