Fan and Carver residents looking for a way to honor our country’s fallen soldiers on Memorial Day are invited to participate in the Never Forget Memorial Run on Monday at noon.

Dozens of runners, including members of the VCU Police Department and Richmond-area veterans and wounded warriors, will travel the 1.4 miles from the UU parking lot at the VCU Siegel Center to the Virginia War Memorial.

All members of the community are invited to join the free run/walk and residents are advised that some streets may be temporarily closed as the group runs from Broad Street down Ryland Street to Franklin Street to Belvedere and into the War Memorial.
