Police are investigating a stabbing that injured a man early today in the Fan District.
The victim was hospitalized for treatment of a single stab wound to the upper torso, an injury that Richmond police Capt. Gary Ladin said did not appear to be life-threatening.
Police found the victim after officers were called for a report of a stabbing shortly before 3:50 a.m. in the 400 block of North Robinson Street.
Ladin said detectives were trying to determine exactly where the stabbing occurred and what the motive may have been.
The victim offered what Ladin said were vague descriptions of two suspects.
