Henrico Police were called to the Studio Plus extended stay hotel at 10060 West Broad Street near Cox Road and the main entrance of Innsbrook Sunday night around 11:00 p.m. When they arrived, 24-year-old Richard Head of Richmond was allegedly walking down West Broad Street while intoxicated.
When authorities approached Head to arrest him for being drunk in public and disorderly conduct, he allegedly assaulted three officers, at one point by spitting in their faces. Head was consequently also booked on charges of assault of a police officer and resisting arrest.
