Local Homeless Shelter to Benefit from Ice Cream Social
Henrico-based insurance company Mondial Assistance is hosting an ice cream social on Thursday to raise money for a local homeless shelter. Beneficiary the Freedom House is a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping the homeless sustain, attain and maintain the skills and resources they need to lead them toward change and a better life.
Henrico-based insurance company Mondial Assistance is hosting an ice cream social on Thursday to raise money for a local homeless shelter. Beneficiary the Freedom House is a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping the homeless sustain, attain and maintain the skills and resources they need to lead them toward change and a better life.
For $20, guests at the social will be treated to a fun summer meal of hot dogs, chips and ice cream, which will be served in an artist-created commemorative bowl—a reminder of hunger in the world.
Two will be two seatings for the event, one at 5:30 p.m. and another at 7:00 p.m. Each is limited to 100 tickets each.

The social will take place at Mondial Assistance, located at 2805 North Parham Road.
