Local Animal Rescue Group Seeking Information on Stolen Puppies

A local animal rescue group is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two puppies that were stolen from an adoption event at the Short Pump PetSmart on Saturday. The B.A.R.K. group says two girls, in their late teens or early twenties, took off with the small puppies, Aimee and Mutt, during the event.

B.A.R.K. says the two puppies pictured were stolen by two college-age females at an adoption event.

A local animal rescue group is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two puppies that were stolen from an adoption event at the Short Pump PetSmart on Saturday. The B.A.R.K. group says two girls, in their late teens or early twenties, took off with the small puppies, Aimee and Mutt, during the event.

The puppies, only a few months old, are in need of medical care according to the group. The two girls, one a blonde and the other a brunette, had shoulder length hair and allegedly took the dogs between 2:45 and 3:15 p.m. Saturday.

Both dogs are beagles, one with a white and brown coat, the other with white and black fur.
