Jama Jandrokovic to perform benefit concert at Blandford Church, April 18

The Ladies Memorial Association of Petersburg and the City of Petersburg Museums will be sponsoring a benefit concert at Blandford Church, Saturday, April 18 at 3:00pm. Soloist Jama Jandrokovic, a versatile interpreter of song will be presenting a vocal recital of classical favorites. A Wyoming native, Jandrokovic has appeared in major concert halls in Eastern Europe as well as New York City’s Steinway Hall, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Audiences have “thrilled to her artistry, delighting in her ‘lovely lyric soprano and gift for poetry’; praising her ‘appealingly sweet, clear and beautiful voice.’”
Seating for the hour long event is limited. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Blandford Church Reception Center. Ticket prices are $15 per person; $20 per person the day of the concert. All proceeds will be given to the Ladies Memorial Association for continuing restoration and repair of Old Blandford Church and Memorial Hill. Founded in 1866, the Ladies Memorial Association of Petersburg is a non-profit organization dedicated to the historic preservation of Blandford Church and the perpetual care of the Memorial Hill section of Blandford Cemetery.
