For any paddlers headed down the James River on the upper section of the Falls of the James, Choo Choo Rapids is a very popular spot to stop and play.

Choo Choo is a class II rapid in the shadows of the Atlantic Coast Line Bridge. So how do you Choo Choo? Do you scout it first? Do you run it several times? Do you stop there for lunch every time you go down the river?
