Henrico Police have made an arrest in connection with two robberies that occurred earlier this week at the Short Pump Walmart. 23-year-old Michael L. Moore was apprehended last night and charged with two counts of using a firearm to commit a felony and two counts of armed robbery. Police also have Moore’s red Ford F-250 pickup truck, seen in store surveillance tapes both nights.

At 2:10 a.m. Monday morning, the suspect was captured on tape entering the store. Shortly after, a customer was robbed in the parking lot. The next morning at approximately 3:00 a.m., the suspect returned and allegedly held up an employee collecting shopping carts in the parking lot, this time with a woman identified as Jennifer Wray.

Moore was arrested at a motel in the 8800 block of Brook Road on outstanding warrants. Wray was with the suspect at the time but has been released for the time being.
