Join us Saturday, October 17 for the 2nd Annual HandsOn Day
On October 17th, HandsOn Greater Richmond will rally and organize 1,000 volunteers to tackle community issues through service. 40 projects will take place at local nonprofits, schools, and city parks. Together, we\’ll beautify schools, build trails, repair homes, feed the hungry, build birdhouses, plant trees, care for animals – you name it. Come on out on your own, or bring your friends, family, co-workers.
Of special interest for North Richmond neighbors would be to assist the North Richmond YMCA! Volunteers will paint and clean up the youth center to create a family-friendly, inter-generational environment! Sign up to help North Richmond YMCA by following this link: http://tinyurl.com/yewseda
Holton Elementary could also use a few more green thumbs at its outdoor landscaping project.
