There are a number of upcoming volunteer opportunities with Tricycle Gardens, including this in the neighborhood:
Hands-on Workdays at our HQ -afternoon, evening and daytime shifts available! Join Danny Finney of Tricycle Gardens for a hands-on workday at our HQ located at 2107 Jefferson Avenue in Church Hill. Volunteers are needed to help assemble items that will be sold at the upcoming Herbs Galore event at Maymont.
Tasks may include building worm boxes, sub-irrigated planters or rain barrels. Light carpentry experience preferred, but not required. Come on out – meet new friends, learn new skills and get dirty! Dates and times are listed below. Eight (8) volunteers are needed for each workday.
Tuesday, April 19th from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Wednesday, April 20th from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Friday, April 22nd from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
