Not sure exactly who is putting this on, but the first annual Ginter Park triathlon debuts on August 16th! With short distances, no bibs, and no official times, this triathlon would be great for people trying out the sport for the first time.

- Sunday morning, August 16, 7:30am, Participants gather at Ginter Park. 8:00am Swimmers take their mark
- To register, contact Nicki Peasley npeasley@comcast.net, $10 registration fee (check to Nicki Peasley) for pool/lifeguard use; excess funds donated to Virginia Food Bank
- Register early– race capped at 50 participants.
