Gary Gerloff performing on Monument Avenue, Easter 2006

Via blog posts and Facebook friends who are musicians comes news that Gary Gerloff died on Saturday.

Gary was a well-known vocalist/guitarist in the region. Worked with many well-respected musicians during his  long career as a troubadour. And, he was a friend.

Last saw Gary at a VCU basketball game; he didn’t miss many of them. Now my thoughts are with his brother, Bill, the rest of their family and the legions of friends and fans Gary made along the way.

To visit Gary’s web site click here. When I have more information I’ll add it to this post.
