A Richmond judge yesterday convicted a man of murdering his 83-year-old mother. He strangled her as he told her he loved her and vowed to kill himself next, authorities said.
Richmond Circuit Judge Bradley B. Cavedo found David Ray Worsham guilty of first-degree murder in the killing Oct. 3 of Virginia Worsham at their home in the 5300 block of Campbell Avenue in Fulton Hill.
Setencing is set for August where Worsham could recieve up to life in prison.
