The School Board last night voted to begin the process of closing Clark Springs ES and two other schools. 5th District School Board Representative Mamie Taylor then proposed closing Carver, Fisher, Fox and Ginter Park elementary schools:
After losing the vote, Taylor made the motion for closing the other four schools but couldn’t find much support. Eppes joined her in voting for the closures, but Harris-Muhammed and Coleman abstained and the idea died.
