You co-own the business with your mom, right? What are the good and bad parts of that arrangement?
Yes, and we work very well together. There are so many great things about working with my mom! We each have our own responsibilities here, so we rarely have problems. It’s so nice to have a partner who I can be open with, and I don’t feel like I need to walk on eggshells. The only downside for me is that she occasionally calls me ‘sweetie’ in front of customers….
