Henrico Fire crews were called to the 11000 block of Edgewood Farms Court in the Church Run subdivision off Three Chopt Road Friday night to battle a two-alarm residential fire around 10:00 p.m.
Firefighters faced cold weather conditions and moderate snowfall at the time of the blaze, which was brought under control in under an hour.
The residents were not home at the time, and the 911 call was phoned in by a neighbor who noticed smoke and flames coming from the rear of the home.
The cause is still under investigation, according to Henrico Fire Captain Chris Buehren. No injuries were reported.
Family members are reportedly staying with relatives.
