The agenda for the October 4 meeting of the City Planning Commission (PDF) includes action on Ordinance 2010-201 and 2010-207, which seek “to declare that a public necessity exists and to authorize the acquisition of the property known as [1006 West Franklin Street/1302 Floyd Avenue] for the public purpose of implementing a Spot Blight Abatement Plan”.
1006 West Franklin Street and 1302 Floyd Avenue are both owned by Charles Modjeski (who also appears to share ownership on 4101 Oakleys Lane in Highland Springs).
