Temperatures may be scorching this week, but inside Short Pump Town Center, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Holiday concerts from local musicians and Christmas in July specials will fill the mall all day long, all with the goal of helping those in need with the spirit of the season– in July.

All money and food donations will benefit the Central Virginia Food Bank and feed hungry families right here in Richmond.

Live music will kick off in the Main Plaza beginning at 1:00 p.m., with the last band wrapping up at 8:00 p.m.

Children can visit with Santa and various holiday characters, as well as enjoy face painting and a moonwalk. Mall restaurants will offer up food and drink samples and many shops and retailers will be offering sales and specials throughout the day.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items such as peanut butter, canned vegetables and tuna to be donated to the food bank.

A schedule of live music can be found below.

2:30-3:30 PM: Chris Lucas and Laura Ann Singh
