The Carytown Merchants Association has chosen a new president.
Bob Broomfield, owner of Play N Trade at 2930 W. Cary St., will succeed Thom Suddeth of Road Runner Running Store.
Broomfield officially takes over as president at the group’s annual meeting tomorrow.
The merchants association works to address common issues facing the Carytown shopping district, the mile-long stretch of West Cary Street between Thompson Street and the Boulevard.
