Carytown Cupcakes will be hosting a celebration of the opening of their new shop and location at 3111 West Cary Street this Saturday starting at 8AM.
In addition to CC’s new location, which will be more visibly situated in downtown Carytown, the new shop will feature not only a retail space, but a kitchen space as well. Customers will get the opportunity to watch the bakers prepare and decorate their cupcakes from a 12” wide “viewing window,” located next to the “cupcake bar”. Schick intends to extend the shop’s hours to Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Customers can eventually expect a full coffee bar, which will offer cappuccinos, espressos, lattes, etc. The menu will also grow to include anywhere from 13-18 flavors available daily, with a minimum of 2 vegan and 2 gluten-free options.
