The Museum District Association’s Fall Alley Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, and they are looking for volunteers:

The MDA coordinates two neighborhood alley cleanups each year (Spring and Fall) where neighborhood volunteers help reduce the amount of trash, appliances, and furniture littering our alleyways.

To ensure a successful cleanup, we will need approximately 20 volunteers, who will be divided up into teams of 5-6 to do a sweep through each of the designated zones in the Museum District. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Kimberly Reiff at 804-410-1632 or via e-mail at MDAenvironment@museumdistrict.org.

As always, the MDA appreciates any amount of time that residents can devote to the alley cleanup projects.

What: Fall Alley Cleanup
When: Saturday, September 21, 2013. 7:45 – 11:30 AM
Where: Meet in the parking lot at Hill School, 3400 block of Park Ave. Coffee and donuts will be provided.

Make use of the City’s Bulk Item Collection Process

As always, we are encouraging all Museum District residents to take advantage of the City’s Bulk Item Collection Process. Large items for pickup in the alleys can be reported to the City by any resident at any time. Visit the City website, the SeeClickFix Richmond page, or download an App for SeeClickFix.
