Kicking off what the organizers hope will become an annual tradition, the Boulevard Pumpkin Festival will take over North Boulevard this Saturday:

On Saturday October 26th the Boulevard from W. Marshall to W. Leigh Streets will be transformed into a land of pumpkins and straw bales where festivalgoers will enjoy the Bon Secours Movin’ Mania kids zone w/ rides and other activities for the little ones, wares from LOCAL vendors and artisans, craft beers from Loveland Distributing including Boulevard Brewing and Lost Rhino, and wines from Free Run Wine Merchants.

There will be community dining and local delicacies from area restaurants and specialty food vendors, including a pumpkin-themed cook-off to be judged by local media, movie trivia and popcorn from Bowtie Cinemas and live local music from our soundstage!

Imagining that this will be like the Watermelon Festival except not 100 degrees and not parked in front of my house…
