Due to an increasing demand for community updates and engagement around the proposed Floyd Ave “bike/walk street” (bike boulevard) project, Bike Walk RVA (a program of the Sports Backers), RideRichmond, and the City of Richmond are co-hosting a “mobile open house” and community discussion on Saturday, November 2.
Floyd Ave residents and nearby members of the community are invited to walk, bike, or jog along Floyd Ave with representatives from the City of Richmond, Sports Backers, RideRichmond, and dozens of their neighbors. We’ll discuss what we like about Floyd Ave and how we can work to make it even more safe and comfortable for people riding bikes, walking, and driving.
We’ll end the tour at the VMFA to continue the conversation with additional interested members of the community.
