Art-o-mat founder Clark Whittington [comes to the Visual Arts Center] for the 10th anniversary celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 6–8 PM. He’ll present a talk about the history of the Art-o-mat project and machines at 6:30 PM, followed by a festive reception. Richmond’s first and only Art-o-mat machine arrived in December 2001 and has been going strong ever since. A special display of Art-o-mat art, curated by longtime Art-o-mat supporter and artist, Alyssa Salomon, will be on display in the Commons November 30, 2011 – January 22, 2012.
