Are you one of the awesome, helpful, supportive, cool people that ordered a James River Park license plate? Well, when are they going to come in?

According to the Friends of James River Park:

Almost. In early July, as soon as the effective date of our hard-fought and successful JRPS license plate bill allows, FOJRP will hand off the almost 400 applications, the beautiful design for the plate, and one large check with all of those $25 and $35 fees so many of you sent in to us, to the DMV. That is DMV procedure, and you know there’s no getting around that. What a long haul it has been!

We’ve called many of you to make sure the info on your applications is right. We want this to go as smoothly as possible so DMV can make these plates and put them in the mail to us park-lovers. We still have a few months more to wait until it’s time to break out our screwdrivers. We’ll update you once we know more.  Thanks so much for your continued support and patience and impatience!
