Take ownership of the James River by volunteering and supporting people who help take care of it. You may not make a drastic change in your life, but joining the Friends of the James River Park can improve your life and the park. From the FOJRP facebook page:
Our Friends of James River Park board meeting is 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 2 at TaZa Coffee & Cream on Forest Hill Avenue in Westover Hills. We’d be happy to see new faces — and hands — willing to work on behalf of the JRPS!
I will be there, and would love to meet some new Friends. Please join us.
